Why Temping WorksWhy Temping Works

Temporary assignments offer many benefits including, flexibility, variety and the potential of permanent job opportunities.

Registering is completely free of charge. We meet all our applicants face to face and go through an in-depth interview to make sure we offer you the most suitable assignments to meet your skills and needs .

Prime Time also offers training in areas such as food hygiene and manual handling and a number of our clients provide further training during your assignment. Prime Time also offers opportunities to gain job specific NVQs in a number of its contracts. Temporary work is a great opportunity to improve your skills and experience in many different industries including food packing and production, production line assembly, warehousing, mail sorting and many more.

Prime Time offers a number of benefits over and above most other agencies because we offer an 'employed status' contract, meaning you have the same rights as if you were a permanent employee (see the Employed Status and Reward Gateway section to see some specific examples of benefits).

Prime Time assesses each of our clients' sites, prior to the start of any assignment, to make sure we place you in a safe and compliant working environment. Every time you accept a temporary assignment you will be given all the necessary information including site address and point of contact on site along with full job description, etc.

You don't have to be available 5 days a week to register for temporary work, you can do as little as one day a week if that is all you are available to do. Some workers choose to work around other jobs, family and other commitments.  Prime Time has a broad range of clients who have diverse requirements from their agency labour. Length of assignment can be ad hoc, ongoing temporary or temporary to permanent.

All you need to do is contact your local branch and talk to one of the Industrial team to arrange an interview and registration .
