Our Industrial Division primarily deals with the recruitment of temporary staff across a broad range of skills and throughout the industrial marketplace. We can offer a wide range of positions including warehouse jobs, manufacturing jobs, picking, packing, drivers, production jobs and machine operatives. How does temping for Prime Time Recruitment work?
Temporary workers are employed under a contract of service and Prime Time Recruitment agrees to offer to the temporary worker opportunities to work where there is a suitable assignment with our clients.
Prime Time Recruitment reserve the right to offer an assignment to any temporary worker it should select where that assignment is suitable for several or more workers.

What about being paid?
Prime Time Recruitment shall at times pay to the temporary worker wages calculated at an hourly rate equal to or in excess of the National Minimum Wage for all hours worked. This will be paid weekly in arrears (subject to receipt of a suitable authorised timesheet), net of deductions for the purposes of National Insurance, PAYE or any other deductions for which Prime Time Recruitment are required by law to make.

The actual pay rate will be quoted for each new assignment. Should you fail to complete the job satisfactorily or fail to turn up for work having agreed to go or act in any manner detrimental to Prime Time Recruitment or the client, then Prime Time reserve the right to terminate your contract immediately. You will be paid at the applicable National Minimum Wage and only for the hours that you have actually worked.

What do Prime Time expect from me?
The temporary worked is under no obligation to accept any such offer of work but if work is accepted, he/she owes the normal common law duties of an employee as far as they are reasonably applicable. The temporary worker shall at all times when on assignment to a client comply with the following minimum conditions. To be present during the times, or for the total number of hours during each day/week, as may be agreed. To take all reasonable steps to safeguard his/her own safety and the safety of any other person who may be affected by his/her actions at work. To comply with all disciplinary rules or obligations in force at the place of work where the assignment is performed to the extent they are reasonably applicable. Not to engage in any conduct detrimental to Prime Time Recruitment or the client.

What can I expect from Prime Time?
There is no obligation by Prime Time Recruitment to provide or for the temporary worker to work any normal number of hours in any day or week. In the event of the temporary worker declining to accept any work or failing to accept work for any reason, for any period, the contract shall terminate.

Prime Time Recruitment and the temporary worker agree that the nature of temporary work is such that there may be periods between assignments when no works is available.

Prime Time Recruitment reserves the right to instruct the temporary worker to end an assignment with a client, for any reason.

What if I have a complaint?
A temporary worker having any complaint about the nature of the temporary work, about payment for the hours that they have worked or about the conduct of any member of staff either of Prime Time itself or its clients, shall have the right to present their grievance to a Director or Senior Manager of Prime Time Recruitment. This should be done, in the first instance, by writing to Company Secretary at the registered office below:
