Technology Services Business Development - Darlington - £55 -£65K + Bonus - Oil & Gas - Blue Chip Customers - Relocation Assistance

Multi National Company striving to become World Class looking to expand at a rapid rate. Specialists in metal products (pressure vessels) and pig systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries. This is a senior management global position, reporting to the Sales Director & working closely with the Solutions Value Stream & Sales Team.

The company has invested heavily in new technology and requires a dedicated, resourceful & capable individual to support the Regional Sales team as a ‘Specialist’ focusing on technology and application lead services.

Responsibilities:

  • To lead the promotion of chosen technology products/services globally
  • To work with the Sales & Marketing Team and other departments within the Company to ensure effective market penetration thus realising defined financial targets.
  • To identify new opportunities in operational pipeline cleaning that lead to product development
  • To assist in the identification and execution of campaigns aimed at increasing our market share & brand equity in specialist operational pigging globally
  • Identification of partners, channels to market products.
  • In the execution of all the above tasks, employ the procedures and practices currently specified for use within the Company.

Profile of Candidate:

Essential

  • Knowledge of oil/gas pipeline field operations, preferably relating to flow assurance, integrity and / or pipeline pigging operations and related activities.
  • Prior experience in oil & gas pipeline services.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and experience implementing company specific H, S &E policy in the oil and gas sector.

Desirable

  • An understanding of effective sales and marketing techniques, along with the ability to develop long-term business relationships with customers.
  • The ability to develop working relationships and team-work across disciplines and functions.
  • Self-motivated, with a high degree of initiative.
  • Willing to travel.
  • A commitment to and capability of developing others and sharing knowledge and understanding. Good decision making and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to demonstrate drive and enthusiasm and lead by example.

Oil and Gas Industry - Ideally Degree Qualified in Science or Engineering Subject. Must be flexible as there will be a lot of National and International Travel fully expensed.
