Quality Inspector - Temp to Perm - c£10 per hour Basildon

Working for an electro- mechanical manufacturing company based in the warehouse department, inspecting both raw materials and finished goods prior to dispatch. Duties:

Perform Inspection duties within the warehouse department including:

Inspecting raw materials at goods in stage against drawings

Inspection of finished assemblies

Record all inspection data

Liaise with Production Supervisor to ensure quality targets are maintained

New Product Introduction inspections

Work closely with associated teams to feed back inspection data and assist with improvements to the area

Products to include: Skills: machine and sheet metal parts, plastic and electronic components, cable forms and assemblies, bar and assembles PCB's.

Previous mechanical inspection experience, gained within a manufacturing company is a must!

Ability to use mechanical and electrical measuring and test equipment needed

Good communications skills both verbal and written

IT literate

This is initially a temporary assignment with the possibility of becoming permanent long term.
