OPERATIONS MANAGER - CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE SERVICES - WEST MIDLANDS - £30k

My client is a private provider in Social Care and is now looking to recruit an Operations Manager.

• Responsible for the overall delivery, and development of Children’s and Young Persons services ensuring quality, safeguarding and performance standards are met

• The retention and development of services to meet our vision of the child remaining at the centre of all that we do

• Deliver services to agreed/set budgets

• To undertake at the direction of the Senior Manager work that supports the development & sustainability of effective partnerships & networks

• Contribute as required to the Preparation of bids and tenders

• Further develop PA model to enable families to purchase additional support when needed using a Direct Payment or Individual Budget

ESSENTIAL SPECIFICATIONS

• Demonstrate experience of working with vulnerable children &/or young people

• Have at least 5 years experience of which 3 years must be management experience

• Be able to work across the West Midlands region

• Have good time management

• Have an understanding of Personalisation Agenda

• Be prepared to work a flexible week

• Be prepared to work and/or have on call responsibility evenings and weekends as necessary

• Demonstrate person centred values

• Demonstrate analytical and problem solving abilities

• Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative and know when to seek and use advise

• Have experience of financial management and budget responsibility

• Have experience of working within a diverse community

• Have excellent communication skills

• Demonstrate ability to prioritize workload

• Demonstrate ability to work effectively for excellent and safe services within a strong organisational culture

SALARY

*£30,000
