Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Malton - £21K - £25K Basic (Dependant on Experience)

Multi National Company that specialize in insulated roof and wall panels provide an easy-to-fit, low maintenance roofing option which offers superior thermal performance and a top-class fire rating.

In addition to their standard roofing products, they have specialist panels for low pitched roofs, controlled environments and roof-tile systems and also a PV solar panels for energy generation on-site

Responsibilities:-

• Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of repair and maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment across the plant
• The position will be required to take ownership for the Pemac Scheduling system. This will involve :-
• Ensuring that PM’s get completed per the schedule and signed off to verify the PM was completed.
• The person will be required to close the PM on Pemac
• The person will be required to hold a paper trail of all completed PM’s to ensure compliant.
• The person will be required to update the Plant Engineers of issues or parts order requirement 
• Ensure all relevant standards, processes & site quality systems are applied

Requirements:-

Essential

• * Minimum of 3+ years experience in a busy manufacturing environment
• * Ability to understand technical drawings
• * Ability to work with, direct and maintain the respect of contractors employed on projects
• * Good communication skills both verbal and written
• * Good analytical and problem solving skills
• * Compliance to all 14001 & 18001 procedures and practices.
• * Strong attention to detail
• * Energetic/pro-active approach

            Desirable

• Experience with modern manufacturing equipment
• Experience with a Preventative maintenance system

Salary/Benefits

• £21000 - £25000 ( Basic Dependant on Experience)
• 23 days holiday + BHs
• 4 x salary life assurance
• Sick pay – 6 weeks in 1^st year, 13 weeks from 1 to 2 years, 26 weeks once have 2 years service
• Income protection – 50% of salary less benefits after 6 months off sick
• Bonus - £1800 annually, based on divisional performance
