****Deputy Home Manager****

Permanent full time role based in Essex.

My client is a private provider of care who offer a range of purpose build homes in Essex and Kent. They are looking to appoint a professionally qualified nurse with good experience and skills in management to take on the role of Deputy Manager in a busy home which provides quality care and support for up to 87 older people with a range of needs from palliative to complex dementias. The position is a permanent one but they are also looking for the successful candidate to act up as the Home Manager when the current Manager takes maternity leave in early 2013.

My Client who is expanding their reputation for quality care with two further build schemes planned for next two years which will bring the number of homes in the group to five. This is an exciting time for an enthusiastic and ambitious Senior Nurse / existing Deputy to join them.  

The role is full time and will require a RGN (or RMN with a high level of general nursing experience/training) along with some management experience. You will also be required to be at NVQ level 4 or studying towards it.

The candidate would work be required to work on the rota and some weekend working may be required on occasions as well as some night shift cover.

The salary is negotiable dependant on the candidate and their experience but looking in the region of £34k for the deputy role and an acting up allowance will be applied when the position is acting Home Manager.
