***HR ADMINISTRATOR, LEARNING DISABILITIES***

My client is a registered charity and has been established for over 25 years. They support over 280 people with learning disabilities in England and Wales to have a full life. They provide services in Residential Homes, Supported Living and offer floating support services to people with a variety of Learning Disabilities.

They are now looking for an HR Administrator to work in their Head Office based in London. The role is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 9-5pm with a salary of £16/17k.

The main purpose of the role with be to provide administration support to the HR department.

Duties will include: 

  • To issue contracts and administer new starter information and any other relevant paperwork.

  • To process all necessary administration surrounding employees leaving the Organisation.

  • To ensure that all contractual changes are implemented promptly, with appropriate paperwork completed and personnel and payroll systems information updated.

  • To process written requests for information from external organisations, such as references, mortgage applications etc.

 

  •  To process timesheets and other payments, ensuring all data is accurately transferred onto the HR system.

  • To assist the HR Advisor in calculating and processing sickness payments (SSP and OSP).

  • To deal with all appropriate HMRC correspondence such as P45’s, P46’s, earnings enquiries etc.

Essential Requirements:

  • IT literate with a knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email and internet

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Good numeracy skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Good organisation, planning and time management skills

  • Ability to effectively work to deadlines and prioritise a varied workload effectively in a demanding environment

  • Ability to use own initiative and make decisions where appropriate

  • Ability to deal with confidential information & material appropriately

 Experience of working in any of the following environments:

  • Human Resources (e.g. recruitment, payroll, training)

  • Marketing & Communications
