Senior Transformer Technician - UK wide site based - Circa £35K basic, £50K OTE, car, holidays


An opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful companies in the world to ensure installation and commission of transformers.


Having secured orders for 40 large Transformers for installation and commissioning projects to be delivered over next 3 years for National Grid, approximately 5m worth of work, these role is designed to be the senior person as well as hands on, in transformer build from delivery in parts, through to commissioning stage on site.



Responsibilities

• Oversee and be involved in build of transformers on site
• Test transformers through and after build stage
• Ensure site safety and compliance
• Involvement in build planning and site planning
• Supervising site staff and engineers
• Work towards build deadlines
  
  
  
  

Essential

• Transformers installation, build, test and commissioning experience
• Supervising site staff and engineers
• Relevant qualifications
• National Grid experience
