***SUPPORT MANAGER REQUIRED***
My client is a provider of support within the Learning Disabilities sector to people in their own homes and is now looking for a Support manager to manage and develop its services within the Lowestoft services in the Suffolk area. The Support Manager will be required to take a lead role in managing the services for supporting Individuals in their own homes with all aspects of daily living skills.
You will be required to ensure staff are supported to ensure all the people the company support can maximise all their opportunities. To ensure staff are aware of expectations of their roles and fulfil relationships to ensure people supported have life enhancing opportunities. To guide and mentor the staff team to enable them to help people supported achieve their dreams and aspirations, as well as basic care and support needs.
Day to day management of one or more services.
Ensuring appropriate care and support is being delivered in line with individuals goals an aspirations
Line management and supervision of staff team
Ensuring individual's needs and choices are met
Liaising with Care Managers and other professionals
Previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour within supported living settings.
NVQ/Diploma Level 4 in Leadership and Management or equivalent
A full UK driving licence
