This is a newly created opportunity to join an entrepreneurial privately-owned business. The company has grown through acquisitions and has a mixed portfolio of fashion brands with in excess of 600 stores nationwide. Through growth we now need to appoint a Group Head of Marketing to drive and lead the marketing function on a strategic level. Reporting in the CEO. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic marketer who can bring their retail experience to a forward thinking and ambitious organisation. Someone who is comfortable with new technologies and enjoys being hands on. The role is based in South Wales but this will involve some travel to the other sites located throughout the country

Responsibilities include;

• implementing the marketing function strategy; by developing, managing and delivering a wide range of marketing activities within defined marketing strategies and policy framework

• Driving initiatives to increase sales, profits and market share.

• Managing and directing a team of over 20FTE including VM.

• Driving, implementing and developing the online capability

The person;

• An accomplished marketer, with a broad range of skills Knowledge and time spent within retail or fashion

• solid man management skills together with the ability to inspire and lead a team.

• Demonstrates successes within online strategies and technology

• Able to work at board level and influence change
