**CARE MANAGER REQUIRED**

My client is a private provider of care has been providing high quality social care services for over 20 years. They have a number of homes for the elderly within Essex and are now looking to recruit a Clinical Care Manager to work within their 60 bedded Nursing Home for the Elderly based in Colchester.

The successful candidate will be required to assist the General Manager within the home.

Purpose of the role:

To provide leadership on all issues relating to clinical excellence and coordinating staff to ensure that effective nursing and care services are provided, quality standards are met and maintained, clinical outcomes are recorded and measured.

To develop and maintain an environment that supports staff in developing clinical skills and capabilities throughout the service 

Duties:

This role requires the Care Manager to take a proactive role within the Home, providing adequate care and resolution of problems when required to do so.

To effectively manage and train staff in line with the requirements of the Care Standards Act; Quality Assurance Systems and Investors In People Awards;

Responsible for the complete care of residents, meeting their health requirements through adoption of an holistic approach;

To recruit, interview and appoint suitably trained and experienced staff for the Home, utilising all resources available;

Experience

• Working within a multidisciplinary team

• Managing people with complex medical, psychological and social needs

• 5 years post registration experience

• Minimum of 3 Years management experience of nursing client groups

Qualifications

• *NVQ Level 4 or above (essential)

• *Must have an RGN Qualification
