***Qualified Lead Nurse (Part time)***

My client is looking for a registered Lead Nurse to work at one of their prestigious homes near Bracknell. The home caters for approx 100 Elderly residents and offers lovely surroundings and grounds to work in. They are offering an excellent salary of £30k pro rata.

Main Purpose of the role:

• responsible for the monitoring of the health and wellness of the residents.

• responsible for supervising and training of team members

• responsible for communication with all resident support services and families with regards to residents’ health issues.

• responsible for administering and documenting medication to residents

• responsible for resident pre-admission assessments.

• responsible for quality assurance and regulatory compliance The Wellness Nurse is responsible for completing any necessary training and becoming knowledgeable in company policies and procedures and CQC compliance.

Essential Key Duties:

• Maintain medical supplies

• Attend Quality Assurance meetings as requested including: Quality Assurance Committee meetings, Nursing meetings and any other meeting as requested by the Head of Care

• Administration of medications to residents

• Order and monitor medications for residents

• Oversee and deliver all nursing care to residents

• Liaise with external Health Care Professionals

• Maintain communication with resident's family to ensure that all medical needs of each resident are met; liaise with the residents’ G.P. when necessary

• Develop a working knowledge of regulations and registration issues

Qualifications

• Maintains registration with NMC as a registered practitioner on part one of register

• Two year experience in long term care for the Elderly ideally from a nursing home.

• Registered Nurse with current Pin.
